THE MISSION
The mission of Embrace Your Dreams is to impact the lives of young people of diverse
backgrounds by providing life skills education as part of golf and tennis instruction that
promotes positive values, physical skills and sportsmanship.
THE VISION
The vision of Embrace Your Dreams is a youth population that is equipped with the life
skills needed to become successful, productive members of the community who, in turn,
provide the leadership to develop role models for the next generation.
THE PRINCIPLES
• To use the games of golf and tennis as vehicles for learning life skills and core values
• To provide children and youth with access to a safe and fun learning environment
• To provide children and youth with the opportunity to build self-esteem and gain a
sense of accomplishment
• To celebrate diversity
• To foster positive communication
• To promote accountability at all levels
• To bridge social barriers
